Middle School Speaker: Jess Wibe

Jess Wibe serves at Spring Branch Community Church as the Student Ministry Associate, spending her days working with middle and high school students and helping them navigate what it means to follow Jesus in their everyday lives. She is also a huge Bible nerd and is working hard to finish her third year of Seminary at Liberty University. When she’s not serving students or being a student herself, Jess loves to run, crochet, and watch Netflix documentaries with her husband, Logan, and her dog, Abby Dog. You can usually find her at a local coffee shop or the tattoo parlor.

Through every season and every new place, Jess knows and believes that Christ is her firm foundation. She is passionate about sharing the gospel with students and walking alongside them as they discover the newness of life that Jesus offers. She loves helping students see that faith isn’t something that only happens at church, but something that shapes who they are, how they live, and how they see the world around them. More than anything, Jess wants students to know that following Jesus is an invite to know Him deeply and live fully in the story He is writing for them.

High School Speaker: Kevin Johnson

Kevin Johnson serves as the Student Pastor at Spring Branch Community Church, where he loves helping students discover what it means to know Jesus and follow Him in the middle of real life.

Kevin has always enjoyed learning new things and chasing new experiences, which helps explain a resume that includes teaching English, becoming a firefighter, and serving on a Navy flight deck. These days, he still enjoys a little adventure, especially when it involves getting out on his motorcycle.

Kevin and his wife, Leslie, have two grown daughters, Mikenzi and Chloe. Through every season and every adventure, the most important part of Kevin’s story has been his relationship with Jesus Christ. He’s passionate about helping students see that following Jesus isn’t boring, shallow, or disconnected from their lives—it’s an invitation to a life of purpose, adventure, and becoming who God created them to be
